It is white with the coat of arms; below it is its name and what appears to be a black bar (?), together centered. Since it appears it is not text, it is
likely an unofficially adopted flag of the municipality, probably adopted anywhere between 2019 and 2021.

The description of the coat of arms, found in the Municipal Code, is as follows:
ARTICLE 6 - The description of the coat of arms of the Municipality of Jesús María; the figures represented in different quadrants are Tradition, Industry, Cattle-raising, and Agriculture.
(REFORMED 28 NOVEMBER 2016)
1. Tradition: The upper-left quadrant represents the traditional dress [Chicahual sombrero] of the men which accompany Saint James and the stone arch, symbol of Jesús María.
2. Religion: The upper-right quadrant represents in it religion through the crown of Jesus Christ and the standard of Saint James, which represent the festivities celebrated in this city.
3. Cattle-raising: In the central circle, the figure represents the cattle-raising activity of the region.
4. Industry: In the lower left quadrant, the figure represents the economic industrial activity of the region.
5. Agriculture: In the lower right quadrant, the figure represents the principal agricultural activity of the region.
