Adutiskis (Svencionys District) - on a silver field a black
rider holding a lance with a forked pennon in Lithuanian
national colours: yellow, green, red. Flag proportions 5:6, free
edges bordered with yellow, green and red rope, finial is a
golden tip, staff is dark grey. The charge refers to
Adutiskis being the most eastern (in northern half of
Lithuania) stronghold of Lithuanian identity in the times of the
Polish regime (1920-1939) and is a reminder of the
Lithuanian custom of Vilnius land: performing protest
actions mounted and with banners or bands of national
colours. In particular, people of Adutiskis were repressed
by Polish police in 1930 and in 1936 due to such actions.
