Ginkunai (Siauliai District) - on a yellow field the arms of
Ginkunai: a hand strewing grain. Flag proportions 5:6, free edges
bordered with a red stripe, finial is a golden knob with a
ring. The arms represent the old traditions of education (the
Lithuanian school of Ginkunai was established in 1896 as an
underground school, when the legal prohibition of Lithuanian
language was still in effect) and a spiritually rich people.
