I've been watching the first day of the first cricket test between Sri Lanka and New Zealand in Galle. Television coverage included a nice, if brief, view of the flag of Sri Lanka Cricket, the governing body of the sport in Sri Lanka. The flag is fairly ordinary - a fairly simple central logo: the Sri Lankan lion in a golden rectangular frame, with the words "Sri Lanka Cricket" under the lion.
I've created an image of what I think the flag is. This should be taken with
the following caveats:
1) I only saw the flag very briefly, so the ratio of
the rectangle to the overall size of the flag is approximate. It appears
to be 1:2.
2) The colour
and dimensions of the logo are darker than that presented on the website of Sri Lanka Cricket
( http://www.srilankacricket.lk ).
The flag itself appeared more a charcoal colour than dark
blue, but this may have been due to the flag being backlit.
