Located in Nishinomiya City Hyogo Prefecture and established in 1949. The embroidered ceremonial flag has reddish purple background with a white and gold emblem and vertically written gold kanji university name in gold fringe. The university flag has sky blue background with a white emblem. On the occasion of its 60th anniversary in 1999, the emblems of the university/junior college, high school/junior high school, and kindergarten were unified. It has an octagonal shape, named after "Masukagami," a decorative word for something beautiful and shining, which appears in the lyrics of the school's song. The design features the letter "M" for Mukogawa River and the letter "U" for University.
