The notice says that the flag follows the form of the national flag, which
means the emblem is shifted 1/100 towards the hoist.

The city emblem is a stylized katakana ヤイヅ Yaizu which represents the
citizen’s cooperation and its growing momentum.

The flag of the former town of Oigawa was green with mark. The town is now,
from 2008, part of the city of Yaizu.
