The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Nov 9th 2005 by Notice No 173. The blue flag has green, yellow green and blue three color town emblem in the center. The emblem is composed of a green forest in upper part, blue water in the middle and yellow green healing land. The town flag proportion is 2:3.

Honkawane Town / 本川根町

The flag of the former town of Honkawane was blue with mark. The town is now, from 2005, part of the town of Kawanehon.
