The city emblem was adopted on Jul 1st 2005 but there is no flag law. The
white flag has a green city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized
hiragana さ Sa of Saku in a form of flying bird. It represents a further surge of
the city creating an abundant future and a wish to realize an urban development
strongly by bright and attractive citizen.
