colour of field: white, colour of emblem: purple diameter of emblem: 3/5 flag height; a stylized hiragana Fu ふ

There is now a new page on the emblem at the
Fussa website.
The emblem, consisting of two strokes forming a circle with a triangular
gap at the top and a third line forming a jagged arrown pointing up into
the circle from the bottom, is described as a stylised hiragana fu
ふ, expressing the launch of the city's future prospects and
peaceful harmony for the citizens. As part of the city's 20th anniversary
in 1960, there was an public invitation for designs for the emblem, the
chosen design being adopted on 1 October.
