The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Apr 1st 2006 by Notice No 113 and 114. The white flag has a blue,a green, a yellow green three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized F of Fujimino. The circle stands for a reconciliation of the mutual citizen, the blue color for Shingashi River, the green color for nature of Musashino, the yellow green color for a young leaf. It represents an image of the city which harmonizes with nature and makes a leap forward. The flag proportion is 2:3.
