Banner with the new logo of the Regional Council of the Hermon Gateways (Mo'atza Ezorit Mevo'ot
HaHermon). The big letters show the name of the council, the small lettering means "A different
quality of life between Hermon and (Lake) Kinneret" (website).
It can be assumed that the flag has the same design.
The photo above was taken on 21 March 2024 at a ceremony to commemorate the battle of Tel Hai in 1920

Regional Council of Mevoot HaHermon (Hermon Gateways) spreads
over the Hula Valley toward the Galilee Panhandle and the Lebanese border in the north. In the south,
the council's settlements reach the Sea of Galilee. It was
seperated from Regional Council of
HaGalil HaElyon in 1976. The Regional Council unites 13
settlements with 5,000 inh.
It has no official flag and in case of need it uses an emblem on
orange background.

council website, author's own observation 18 September 2001.
The emblem of Mevoot Hermon has not been formally adopted.

Regional Council of Mevoot HaHermon govern 13 communities - Moshav's,
farms and other communities: (Elipelet, Amnun, Bet Hilel, Dishon,
Yuval, Korazim, Kakhal, Karkom, Margali'yot, Mishmar Ha'Yarden,
Ramot Naftali, She'ar Yeshuv and Sde Eliezer).
Those were separated from Regional Council of HaGalil HaElyon
(which kept all the Kibbutz's), and therefore both Regional
Councils have no internal territorial sequence of their
jurisdictions.
I reported an orange flag at my visit, but it seems that more
colors are in use such as the light blue variant
seen at <www.mevoot-hermon.org.il>.

Sde Eliezer (meaning Eliezer Field) is a Moshav
(kind of rural settlements in Israel) and as such has no status
of local authority, belonging to the Regional Council Mevo'ot
Hermon. Sde Eliezer is situated in the Upper Galilee, just on the
other side of the main road from Yesod
HaMa'ala.
Usually these small settlements have no flags, so it was quite a
surprise to see this settlement well decorated by flags of
different colours charged with a logo really a stylized
inscription of the Moshav's name. During my visit of 18 September
2001, I saw green, purple and red flags with a white logo, blue
flags with a yellow logo and white and yellow flags with blue
logo. I took these pictures of
the row of flags at the Moshav entrance and a close up of one of
them.
