Local Council Tel Sheva (Tel Al-Saba'a in Arabic, meaning Mound
Seven) is the first Bedouin Local Council in the Negev area.
Situated 5 km NE to Be'er Sheva, it
was founded in 1968 as part of Regional
Council of Bene Shim'on and in 1984 became a Local Council.
Pop: 8,500 inh., all Muslim Bedouins. The flag was reported as
emblem on white. Emblem colours are not confirmed, so the flag is
only probable. The municipal emblem was published in the official
gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut
HaPirsumim), YP 4452, 27 October 1996.
