Derby City Council Flag

The Derby City Council is the local government authority for Derby, a city and unitary authority in the East Midlands region of England. Derby lies upon the banks of the River Derwent and is located in the south of the county of Derbyshire. In the 2011 census, the city had a population of 248,700 on 78.3 km.
By traditional definitions, Derby is the county town of Derbyshire, although Derbyshire's administrative centre has in recent years been Matlock. On 1 April 1997 Derby City Council became again a unitary authority (a status it had held, as a county borough, up until 1974), with the rest of Derbyshire administered from Matlock.
The flag of Derby City Council is white with the City council logo on it. It can be seen here. (source)

Spondon is a ward of the city of Derby. Originally a small village, Spondon dates back to the Domesday Book, but became heavily industrialised in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The community lies on the north slope of the valley of the River Derwent on the eastside of Derby. The residential Spondon village area is at the top of the hill above a heavily industrialised area at the bottom. A notable historic landmark is St. Werburgh's Church which dates back to around 1390. In the churchyard is an Anglo-Saxon cross dating from about c870. (source)

Pride Park Stadium in Derby is the home of the Derby County Football Club Rams. They are a professional association football club based in Derby representing all of Derbyshire. They have played all their home games there since 1997. Notable for being one of the 12 founding members of the professional English Football League (EFL) in 1888, the Rams are one of only ten clubs to have competed in every season of the English football league system since then. In 2009, they were ranked 137th in the top 200 European football teams of the 20th century by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
In the city of Derby the Rams flag is almost considered a city flag, and its many variants are displayed throughout the city and Derbyshire with pride calling it the "Derby City Flag".
