Introduction: Shrewsbury Town Football Club

The Shrewsbury Town Football Club (STFC) is a professional association football club based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. The team competes in League One, the third tier of English football. The club plays its home games at New Meadow Ground. They moved from their earlier Gay Meadows Ground in 2007 after a 97 years stay (1910-2006). The Shrews, also known affectionately as "Salop", "Town", or "The Blues", have won the Shropshire Senior Cup a record 67 times and are the only club from Shropshire to ever play in the professional English Football League.

Fan Flags

There are multiple fan flag designs for "The Shrews", both official and unofficial on the market. Many are one of a kind designed for particular matches, opponents, or tournaments. The club is over 136 years-old and that can generate a lot of flags: here are some recent examples:

Barmy Army is a generic term for any fiercely loyal and usually very vocal supporters of a sports team in England. No idea about the meaning of SY3 though.

Apparently these loyal Blues fans made a special flag for a road trip to show support for their team. Carpe Diem means "Seize the day," but the nickname "Dog House" is a new one to me.

I have no idea about this particular flag or what the Shropshire Branch is, but perhaps one of you can enlighten us.
The Queen of the South Football Club is a Scottish professional football club located in Dumfries. They are nicknamed "The Doonhamers" but are more usually referred to as Queens. Perhaps another Scottish invasion is in the making?
