The municipality of Bozoó (108 inhabitants in 2009; 3,316 ha) is located 80 km of Burgos. The municipality is made of the villages of Bozoó proper (capital), Portilla (7 inh.) and Villanueva Soportilla (24 inh.).

Two different sets of municipal symbols of Bozoó are prescribed by two successive Decrees. There is no indication that the second Decree superseded the first one.
First Decree.
The flag and arms of Bozoó are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 21 January 1999 by the Burgos Provincial Government, signed on 1 March 1999 by the President of the Government and published on 11 March
1999 in the official gazette of official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 48, pp. 2,532-2,533 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Castilian flag, with scale 1:1. Tierced, the upper part red and the lower part white, covering 2/3. In the middle of the flag, a centaur proper holding a sword argent in the hand, the human head [of the centaur] and the sword in the red field.
Coat of arms: Argent a centaur proper holding a sword argent in the hand attacking a snake vert langued gules, in chief an escutcheon of Castilla y León. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
Second Decree.
The flag and arms of Bozoó are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 9 October 2002 by the Municipal Council, signed on 25 February 2003 by the Mayor, and published on 17 March 2003 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 52, p. 3,943 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Castilian, tierced red (in heraldry, gules) in the upper part and white, flanked blue (azure) at hoist and yellow at fly. In the middle is placed the municipal coat of arms in full colors, with a Royal crown closed.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Azure a chapel argent, 2. Vert a tower argent masoned sable the port's arch azure, grafted in base argent a centaur proper holding a sword sable in the dexter hand The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
