The Superintendencia de Pensiones (SIPEN, Superintendent of Pensions) is the agency of the Dominican Republic's government that oversees and administers the Dominican pension system. According to the Google translation of the agency's website, SIPEN was created on 9 May 2001 by Law 87-01, which also created the Dominican Social Security System. SIPEN falls under the Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Social (CNSS, National Council for Social Security).
