It is a white flag divided by three red ascending lines, the middle line being the upper part of a red "T", followed by red "RG".

EAW Treptow

Club's history:
Established as municipal "Sportgruppe Baumschulenweg, Sparte Rudern " in 1946 the club was re-organized an drenamed several times: "Wassersportvereinigung Vorwärts Baumschulenweg"(1949), "BSG Apparatewerke Treptow"(1950); "BSG Mechanik Treptow"(1951); "BSG Motor Treptow"(also 1951); "BSG Elektro-Apparate-Werke Treptow"(1973) After German reunion in 1990 the club was renamed into "Treptower Sportverein von 1949; Abteilung Rudern" and finally on 30 October 1991 the "Treptower Rudergemeinschaft e.V." was established. Of all these predecessors I could only spot one flag:
Description of flag (1973-1990):
It was a white flag divided by two red horizontal stripes. Between the stripes in the centre of flag was a red capital "T" and at the hoist a vertical inscription of small red capitals "EAW". The flag was inspired by that one of Vorwärts.

Rowing on Lake Treptow however began in the 19th century since the very beginning of rowing in Berlin.

RG All Right

Name: Rudergesellschaft 'All Right'
Located in: Berlin
Established: 16 January 1879
Description of flag:
It is a blue flag. The canton is divided by four white horizontal stripes. On the fly are four white 5-point stars in quincunx.

The club was renamed on 27 August 1886 into Ruder-Club 'Berolina'. Its members were recruited from lower middle class running small businesses. Till the end of WWII the club was for males only. After WWII the boat house of the club was occupied by members of Vorwärts, which recruited its members mainly from workers. Obviously there had been strong resentments between the members of both clubs. Finally the rowers of Berolina decided to re-establish the club 1950 in Berlin Pichelsdorf. RV Vorwärts Berlin

Description of flag:
It is a white flag divided by two narrow red horizontal stripes, one in the upper half, the other in the lower half, and a red letter "V" (= "Vorwärts") in the centre of the flag, formed by two buoies.

After all sports clubs had been forbidden by a decision of Allied Control Board in May 1945, rowing in Treptow, like everywhere, took place in the underground. In 1946 the municipal "Sportgruppe Baumschulenweg, Sparte Rudern " was established, having members from the former rowing clubs 'Berolina' and 'Vorwärts'. The group was renamed into "Wassersportvereinigung Vorwärts Baumschulenweg" in 1949. The name "Vorärts" was kept, because "Vorwärts" had always been a left-wing club, based in the German lworkerer's movement, while "Berolina" was a conservative's rowing club.
Being frustrated the former members of "Berolina" left the group and re-established their old club in West Berlin in 1950. The communist administration in East Berlin changed sports clubs into sports clubs supported and controlled by specific lines of production (in non-communist context we could say company clubs, but under communist rule there were no companies), and in fact finally controlled by the communist party.
Some members of Vorwärts also refused this new sytem and finally re-established the club with its old name in West-Berlin 1952.

RV Sparta Klein-Köris

Name: Ruderverein Sparta Klein-Köris e.V.
Located in: Klein Köris (Brandenburg)
Established: 28 Juni 1961
Description of flag:
The white flag is horizontally divided by two red, narrow lines. In the centre between the lines is a big red "S". The flag is inspired by that one of RV Vorwärts.
The reason is evident. The club was established as an offspring by former members of Vorwärts together with locals, in order to avoid being controlled as a BSG.

Treptower Ruder-Club

Description of flag:
The white flag was divided by two narrow, green, horizontal stripes. In the centre between the stripes was a green 6-point star. The flag had a green canton with a black inscription "TRC" in triangular formation.
