Name: Akademischer Ruderverein "Alania" zu Hamburg e.V.
The club was established by German expelled persons in 1950 by a merger of ARV "Alania" Königsberg i. Pr. and ARV Danzig. In 1958 ARC Hamburg joined the club.

The flag has ten horizontal stripes, the upper half alternating black and white starting with a white one, the lower half alternating red and white starting with a red one. In the flag is a black-edged
white shield with a black latin cross. The shield is shifted to the hoist.
The shield looks like that one of the Teutonic Order.

The flag was white with a red 5-point star in centre and the black "Zirkel" of the fraternity in canton.

It was a 14-stripes flag parted horizontally by alternating black and white stripes. The canton was black and went down to the lowest black stripe. In canton were the lesser arms of Danzig, displaying two white crosses in pale in a red shield, above and the white "Zirkel" (a cypher) of the fraternity below.

The pennant was white with the black "Zirkel" (a cypher) of the fraternity. At hoist was a stripe parted per bend of black and red.
