Baroque shield Argent, a saint issuant from base, nimbed Or, dressed Azure, holding a gridiron Azure in his left hand and a palm frond Vert in his right hand.
Meaning:
The saint is St. Lawrence, the local patron saint, recognisable by his attribute, the gridiron. The palm frond is a general symbol of martyrdom. The arms are based on a seal of the local court of the Bishops of Würzburg with prints since 1757. The tinctures blue and white are those of Bayern.
