Shield Gules a pick axe Argent in pale hafted Or and flanked by three 5-point stars Argent ordered 2:1, chief vair.
Meaning:
The vair is taken from the arms of the Counts of Pappenheim, local rulers between 1541 and 1806. The stars are taken from the arms of the Lords of Mörnsheim. The tinctures white and red had been those of the Bishopric of Eichstätt. The pick axes is representing the many local stone quarries.
