It is a blue-yellow vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top. Beneath the shield is an inscription in black capitals "STARZACH".

Shield Or, two bendlets sinister wavy Azure, flanked by five roses Gules ordered 1:3:1.
Meaning:
The bendlets are representing the little rivers Starzel ansd Eyach, probably name givers of the municipality. The roses are representing the former municipalities Bierlingen, Felldorf, Wachendorf, Börstingen and Sulzau.
