Shield Argent, a pine tree proper (i.e. Vert stemmed Maron), issuant from a cut stem Maron, behind the stem of the fir a trident Sable in fess.
Meaning:
The pine is representing the local groves and heathers. The cut stem is alluding to forestry, the trident to fishery, both being former important business lines. Please note that the stems are blazoned as Gules (red) but in fact the red colour is brownish somehow.
