Shield Azure an eagle Argent holding a branch Vert by his beak, issuant from base a triplemount Or charged with hammer and mallet Sable.
Meaning:
The mount is canting and representing the suffix "-berg". Hammer and mallet are referring to the local depletion of brown coal by the Bayerische Braunkohlen-Industrie-AG in Wackersdorf. The eagle is taken from the arms of the Barons of Reisach, who ruled the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) for a long time.
