Shield Azure an arrow Or and a sword Or in saltire, in chief a pall reversed Argent, in base six blocks of granite Argent.
Meaning:
The pall reversed is referring to two important federal roads (B85 and B11), which merge in the village. The sword is an attribute of St. Martin, the local patron saint. The arrow is an attribute of St. Sebastian, to whom a local pilgrimage is dedicated. The blocks, or rocks, are referring to the depletion of granite and to the Pfahl, a quartz vein extended to 150km. The tinctures blue and white are those of the Duchy of Bayern, to which the village historically belonged.
