Zeilarn Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a sword Argent in pale flanked by two fleur-de-lis Or.
Meaning:
The sword is an attribute of St. Martin, the local patron saint. The parish church had also been an important manorial lord. The fleur-de-lis are referring to Schildthurn, a local pilgrimage church. Their patrons are the virgins Einbet, Lilbet and Warbet. During the counter-reformation the wicca was extended also to St. Mary. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of St. Mary and a symbol for purity and virginity as well. The church is furthermore a local landmark and has the highest belfry of all Bavarian villages.
