Shield Argent, issuant from base a mount Vert, charged with a barrulet wavy and crowned by a church Gules, flanked by two oak leaves Vert.
Meaning:
The church is the local Protestant church. Mount and bar wavy are representing the local marshes and the numerous drainage channels, flowing to Wümme River, which however just is passing on by.
