Shield Or a bend Sable, charged with three balls Or and flanked by two 6-point stars Gules.
Meaning:
The bend with balls is a modification of the family arms of the Lords of Benzenau, who had control over the Lordship of Kemnat as a fiefdom since 1480. They sold all their rights in Dösingen and Westendorf proper in 1571 to the city of Kaufbeuren, represented by both stars.
