Shield Argent, a S-shaped branch of dog rose Vert with six rose hips Gules, flanked by hammer and mallet Argent in dexter base and a flag chequered of Sable and Argent in sinister chief.
Meaning:
The dog rose (Latin: Rosa canina) is a common plant in the area. The hips are symbolising the six settlement cores of the municipality. The branch is symbolising their coalescence. Hammer and mallet are symbolising mining. The finish flag is alluding to EuroSpeedway Lausitz race course, being in the area of the municipality.
