Shield abased parted by a fess chequered of Azure and Argent; above Azure a demi-lion issuant Or, crowned, armed and tongued Gules at sinister and a facetted 6-point star Or at dexter; beneath Or a bunch of grapes Azure.
Meaning:
The chequered fess displays the arms of the Hither County of Sponheim. The lion is a differentiation of the lion of the Palatine Counts of Rhine. The star is taken from the municipal arms of Sprendlingen. The grapevine is symbolising viticulture.

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Or a winder Sable; at sinister Sable a lion rampant Or, armed and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
The sinister half displays a differentiation of the arms of the Palatine Electorate, to which the village belonged until 1789. The winder (German:Haspel) is taken from old local court seals. It is a tool used by linen weavers. Linen weaving had been the most important business line until the beginning of the 19th century.

Shield Azure an initial "G" Argent surrounded by three facetted 6-point stars of the same ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The arms are based on a local court seal from 1609. The stars are probably just symbolising the existence of that court and the initial is the 1st letter of the municipal name. In 1956 the arms were proposed as golden with black charges.

Meaning:
The church is a representation of the local parish church, dedicated to the name giving saint. The base displays the arms of the Hither County of Sponheim, to which the village historically belonged.

Shield Gules parted by a fess chequered of Azure and Or, one facetted 6-point star Or on chief and one on base.
Meaning:
The arms are based on local seals, which existed since the 15th century and already displayed the current pattern. The chequered fess displays the arms of the Hither County of Sponheim, to which the village historically belonged. The stars are either a local symbol or symbolising the existence of a local court of justice. Until the early 20th century the chequered fess erroneously had the tinctures red and white of the Farther County of Sponheim on a golden shield with red stars.

Shield Or an arrow Sable in bend, on sinister chief a Marian crown Azure.
Meaning:
The arms are based on a local seal from 1574, which displayed the arrow alone. The crown is an attribute of St. Mary, the local patron saint. She had been supporter of the old seal and was replaced by her attribute later.
