Shield Azure, two swords argent hilted Or crossed per saltire, surrounded by four Greek crosslets Argent.
Meaning:
The arms were approved in 1907 and are based on the seal of Oberhadamar, which dates from the 15th century. Instead of two swords, the seal displayed two sceptres, probably just maces or staffs of office. From 1570 they had been replaced by short swords, sometimes called daggers. The origin and meaning of the arms is not known.
