Shield Azure a baptistery Argent, chief wavy Argent charged with three lozenges Gules in fess.
Meaning:
The chief wavy is symbolising the Vils river and the location of the municipality on its banks. The lozenges are taken from the arms of the Lebenskirchen kin, who had been of great local importance. The baptistery is representing Johannesbrunn and its patron saint, St. John the Baptist. The tinctures silver and blue are those of the Wittelsbach kin.
