Shield parted per pale, at dexter Vert a bend wavy Argent, at sinister Argent an eradicated stomp Gules.
Meaning:
The village had been a community of joint ownership (German: Ganerbschaft) under joint administration by the Margraves of Ansbach, the Lords of Fuchs and Ebrach Abbey. The arms were introduced in the 16th century and have not changed basically since then. Bend wavy and the green colour are a representation of the Main River and the meadows alongside the river. The stomp of a tree (Southern German: Baumstock) is a canting element. The colours white and red are those of Franken.
