Shield Azure, a facetted saltire Or, in centre an inescutcheon Argent charged with a throughout cross Sable.
Meaning:
The inescutcheon is alluding to the Teutonic Order, the former ruler of Steinbach. The saltire is taken from the arms of Gleiberg, which had possesssions in Steinbach and Annerod as well. The colours blue and gold are those of the Counts of Solms, who played a role in Albach.
The coat of arms was approved on 24 May 1976 by Minister of Interior of Hesse.
