Description of coat of arms:
Arms blazoning: Argent, on a mount Azure charged with two swords in saltire Argent, a linden tree Vert.
Meaning:
The green-white flag granted in 1971 was obviously never used. Instead since about 1971 a green-white-blue flag was used and no one ever noticed, until yours truly pointed out this fact to the municipality. This prompted a correction of the approval initiated by a resolution of the municipal council that referred to yours truly as
"Hochheitszeichensammler" (a German neologism with orthographic creativity). Interestingly enough, the chronicle mentioned above among the sources does not only describe the green-white flag, but also has a dust cover in green-white with the municipal arms (in a seal-like manner).

The flag was adopted on 17 December 2001 by the local council and approved on 26 February 2002 by head office of Bavarian State Archives. The coat of arms was approved on 12 July 1971 by district government of Oberbayern. The bicolour was also approved on 12 July 1971 by district government of Oberbayern by document II A 4 - 8001 a 5. The bicolour was never used.
