Schöllnach Coat of Arms

Shield Or a linden leaf Sable fixed on a branch of the same.
Meaning:
The town adopted the family arms of the Reutorner kin, whose members ruled the Schöllnach district (Bavarian: Hofmark) as vassals of the Counts of Ortenburg. The kin was based in Reitern near Garham in Vilshofen County and died out in 1686. The family arms are known by numerous seals and coloured paintings in rolls of arms. Schöllnach gained the status of a market town in 1966.
