Shield Azure enhanced parted by a bend Argent charged with three fish Azure in bend, beneath right a stag salient Argent, above left two 6-point stars Or in bend.
Meaning:
The arms are the personal arms of Abbot Aemilian Oettinger of Rott am Inn. He acquired the Grafenwiesen district (Bavarian: Hofmark) for the Benedictine Rott Monastery in 1702. The area of the current municipality is congruent with the former district, which existed until 1803, when it was secularised.
