Shield Vert with base wavy Azure, upon base a barrulet wavy Or, issuant fom the barrulet an oak Or with five leaves and four acorns of the same.
Meaning:
The area of the subcounty is surrounding the namesake lake. The subcounty was formed in 1992 when nine municipalities from two different former counties (Beeskow and Fürstenwalde) decided to cooperate. The five leaves and four acorns, nine elements together, are probably symbolising the nine municipalities. The base wavy is symbolising the Scharmützelsee (lake).

Meaning:
The steering wheel is referring to the local watergate and shipping. The fish is representing Scharmützelsee, a local lake. The cones are representing the local forests.
