Shield Azure a wheel Or, issuant from wheel three salt pipelines Argent in pall, issuant from base a triplemount Argent, in chief a trefoil Or in either corner.
Meaning:
The golden wheel is symbolising the location alongside the "golden salt road" between Reichenhall and Traunstein. The pipeline is representing that one, built by Duke Maximilian I of Bayern between 1611 and 1619. The wooden tubes of the pipeline, having a length of 31 kilometres, were made in Schneizlreuth. The triplemount is representing Weißbach, which merged with Schneizlreuth in 1978. It is especially referring to the hamlet of Jochberg and the alpine landscape in general. The trefoils are taken from the former arms of Schneizlreuth and are originally taken from the family arms of the Barons of Lasser, who owned the Marzoll district (Bavarian: Hofmark) between 1605 and 1798. They are also referring to the economy based on local alpine pastures.
