Shield parted per saltire of Gules (chief), Sable (base) and Argent, superimposing an eradicated staff Gules in fess with a fleur de lis at its top. The base quarter is charged with a throughout cross Or.
Meaning:
The quartered shield is representing the former Unteressendorf municipality, the golden cross in black the former Schweinhausen municipality and the staff the former Hochdorf municipality. The colours red and white are reminding on historical relationships of all pre-1975 municipalities to Austria.
