Dürmentingen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Vert a sinister facing lion statant Or, beneath Or a lion statant Vert.
Meaning:
Based on a file of the local administration from 1923, at that time a local seal from the times of the administration by the Sewers of Waldburg (until 1786) appeared in the aechives of the Thurn and Taxis kin. The municipality adopted these arms but changed the colours. In 1956 the design of the arms was improved.
