Shield Gules, at dexter a sinister facing lion rampant Argent, at sinister an impending demi-castle of the same, chief Argent parted by a pale Gules.
Meaning:
Since the beginning of the 15th century the municipality belonged to the Free Imperial City of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, symbolised by the tinctures red and white and the differentiated castle. The lion is taken from the arms of the Lords of Steinsdorf, the chief from the arms of the Lords of Gattenhofen.
