Shield parted per fess; above Gules a double queued demi-lion rampant guardant issuant Or, armed and tongued Azure; beneath Or a cross patty Gules; orle of eight segments, alternating of Gules and Or.
Meaning:
The arms are based on a court seal of Daaden from 1362. The upper half is a differentiation of the family arms of the Counts of Sayn, which displayed a complete lion. The cross is alluding to the Archbishopric of Trier and the Order of the Temple. The orle is symbolising the status of an associated municipality.

The banner was approved in 1968 by the Daaden Associated Municipality, the predecessor of the current associated municipality.

The city of Daaden and the following municipalities have no proper banners: Derschen, Emmerzhausen, Friedewald, Mauden, Niederdreisbach and Weitefeld.

It is a red-yellow-red horizontal triband with ratio of stripes approx. 2:7:2 and centred arms in the yellow stripe.

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Gules a double queued lion rampant guardant Or, armed and tongued Azure; at sinister Sable a bend Argent charged with three boar heads Sable; issuant from base a pile embowed Argent; chief Azure a throughout embattled wall Argent masoned Sable under a royal coronet Or.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the family arms of the Counts of Sayn, the sinister half those of the Lords of Freusburg. Both ruled the village. The border had been the Heller, a creek, symbolised by the pile. Finally the counts acquired also the Lordship of Freusburg. The chief is alluding to a former imperial estate named Königsmauer, i.e. the "wall of the king".

It is a vertical yellow-green bicolour with ratio of stripes 1:1 and arms in canton, superimposing a thin stripe, being red on yellow part of the sheet and yellow on green part. The lower fly corner is a yellow triangle divided by a red ascending stripe.

Shield parted by a chevron embowed Argent, beneath Gules a double queued lion rampant guardant Or, armed and tongued Azure; above right Vert hammer and mallet Or in saltire; above left Vert issuant from a triplemount two oak twigs Or in saltire, each one having one leaf and one acorn.
Meaning:
The wavy chevron is a representation of the Daade, a local creek. The tools are alluding to ore mining and processing, which was practised from 1370 until 1800. Twigs and mount are symbolising the landscape.

Shield Vert a nettle leaf cross Or; mantled; at dexter Azure three fish najant Or in pale; at sinister Gules a double queued lion rampant guardant Or.
Meaning:
The fish refer to the three lakes that used to be in the municipality as fish ponds of the Cistercian Marienstatt Abbey. The lion is a differentiation of the family arms of the Counts of Sayn, the former rulers. On their family arms the lion was armed and tongued blue. The cross is taken from the arms of the Lords of Greifenstein.
