Les Montets

On 1 January 2004 the new commune of Les Montets was formed by the merger of Aumont, Frasses, Granges-de-Vesin and Montet (Broye) (see below).

The four roses in the new emblem stand for the four united communes, the river is the Petite Glâne.

Aumont (until 31 December 2003)

Gules, three Lilies of the Valley Vert flowered Argent issuant from a Mount Or and on a Chief of the third three Roses of the first barbed and seeded proper.

Azure, a Castle embattled Or with a Tower in dexter masoned, doored and windowed Sable, and on a Chief Argent three Roses Gules barbed and seeded proper.
