The Toronto Argonauts are based in Toronto, Ontario, and are possibly are the oldest existing professional sports team in North America still using its original name. They compete in the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Since the team's foundation in 1873 by the Argonaut Rowing Club, the Argonauts name has been in continuous use, although they have picked up various nicknames along the way such as the Argos, Boatmen, Scullers, and Love Boat. The reason a Rugby-football club started the team is simple; they need something to keep them is shape on the off-season for rowing.
"Because the team colors are Cambridge Blue and Oxford Blue they are also called the "Double Blue." The name Argonauts is derived from Greek myth of Jason and the Argonauts. Not surprisingly, their team mascot today is also aply named "Jason." The team was owned by the Argonaut Rowing Club for its first 83 years, but its franchise has been owned by a series of business interests since 1956.
The Argonauts have won the Grey Cup a record 18 times in the final 24 times. Most recently they defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 24-23 in the 109th Grey Cup in 2022. The Argonauts hold the longest active winning streak in Grey Cup games at seven. The Argos played their home games at Rogers Centre, or the SkyDome, from 1989 until 2016 when the team moved to BMO Field which holds 25,000.

The 2022 Grey Cup win for the Toronto Argos was their historic 18th win, the most ever in the CFL history by one team. They faced a favored Winnipeg Blue Bombers who had won in the last two Blue Cups in 2020 and 2021. The Bombers were gunning to successfully pull off a "three-peat." It would make Winnipeg only the sixth team to win three consecutive Grey Cups. However, the underdog Argos went to Regina and pulled off a one-point win in the 109th Grey Cup, taking down the Blue Bombers 24-23.
The first example here honors their victory specifically in the Grey Cup Championship and the second example is less specific and could be either for the East Division Championship or their Grey Cup victory in 2022.

Fan Flags are commercially manufactured flags either officially approved or licensed by a team or, unfortunately, in some cases, they might be illegal "ripoffs" being sold. There are also non-commercial handmade fan variants also in use. We attempt to show only licensed flag designs here. They come in many styles, and many manufacturer variants exist.
Argonauts Fan flag designs are available with various horizontal strip patterns and design elements, but these flags all use some common design elements: a team logo, and the team colours of Cambridge Blue and Oxford Blue.

What can one say about this flag other than obviously "This Girl Loves her Argonauts?" This Argonaut fan flag is less for displaying at games or on flag poles, but more for the walls of home "man cave."
