La Baie

Before becoming a borough of Saguenay in 2002, the Town of La Baie had a flag. It was simply the logo in flag format; it was probably adopted sometime after becoming a municipality in 1976, likely adopted by the 1990s. A bird cuts across the flag in white, having to the left of it multiple bands of green and white. To the right of it, the bands turn blue and white. Underneath the bird, multiple thinner bands in blue and white appear representing the waters of the bay. A sailboat, commonly seen in the bay, is found in bands of green, white, and blue; it forms a V shape, used to create the words Ville de La Baie in the bottom blue stripe.
