The municipal flag of Rijkevorsel is white with a red triangle, whose basis is the upper edge of the flag and whose point reaches the middle of the
lower edge of the flag, charged with three white lozenges placed 2 and
1.
According to Gemeentewapens in België - Vlaanderen en Brussel [w2v02a], the flag was adopted by the Municipal
Council on 22 June 1984, confirmed by the Executive of Flanders on 5
November 1984 and published in the Belgian official gazette on 8 July
1986.
The flag is a near banner of arms, the letters "R" and "V" of the arms
being omitted on the flag.
According to Van evers en heiligen. Wapens en vlaggen van de gemeenten in de provincie Antwerpen [pbd98], these arms were granted by Royal Decree on 30 July 1913. The letters seem to be shown as red on that source, but are shown as black on the municipal website.
