FEBIAC (Fédération Belge de l'Indsutrie de l'Automobile et du Cycle - Belgian Federation of Automobile and Cycle Industry) was founded in 1936 as the professional association of the foreign automobile and cycle manufacturers established in Belgium.
In 1969, the FEBIAC merged with the Chambre Syndicale des
Constructeurs d'Automobiles et de Cycles de Belgique (Branch Chamber
of the Belgium Automobile and Cycle Manufacturers), itself founded
in 1899 as the venerable Chambre syndicale de l'Automobile et des
Industries qui s'y rattachent (Branch Chamber of Automobile and
related Industries) and renamed after the first world war. The new
organization retained the FEBIAC name and acronym.
The FEBIAC is the organizer of the "European Motor Show Brussels", the
successor of the "Salon de l'Automobile et du Cycle", organized for
the first time on 8 March 1902.

The flag of FEBIAC, white with the FEBIAC emblem, was hoisted during
the European Motor Show 2010, organized in Brussels in January 2010.
André Tignon took a photo (No. 24) of the flag in a snowy atmosphere, 13 January.
The dark red emblem of FEBIAC is made of a wheel winged with a "F"
letter, separated from the organisation name, italicized, by a thin
horizontal line.
