Botany Bay Yacht Club (BBYC), founded on 27 March 1964, is situated on the waterfront of Kogarah Bay, in Sans Souci, New South Wales.
The burgee of Botany Bay Yacht Club is blue with a sailing ship, undoubtedly HMS Endeavour, which, commanded by Captain Cook, landed at Botany Bay on 29 April 1770. The burgee can be "guessed" on the photography of the old club house available on the BBYC website; a black and white representation of the burgee appears on the front page of "The Log", the newsletter of the BBYC, downloadable from the BBYC website. HMS Endeavour is showed in grey on my image because the source image - on the frontpage of the website - is so, but it should probably be white on the real burgee.
