Description of the flag

The flag of the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard (Kustwacht Caribisch Gebied) was yellow with the Dutch colours descending across the fly and the arms in the upper hoist. Founded as the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba Coast Guard in 1996; adopted the current name upon the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010.

Most Coast Guards in the world have adapted the US Coast Guard's "racing stripe," used on ships and aircraft, for their own purposes, and that it used on the flag here. The DCCG Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/kwcarib) has a number of photos showing the DCCG flag.

Kustwacht Caribisch Gebied is responsible for the Coast Guard duties for all six territories of the former Netherlands Antilles. It has its own flag and emblem.
